This how-to will show you step by step how to add sales periods and mark-ups on an activity.
Manage Sales Periods
In the distribution tab for your activity, you will have two options on how to distribute the pricing and availability for the activity.
Use supplier’s pricing and availability: Select this option if you want to use the suppliers original prices and available booking dates without any modifications.
Customize pricing and availability: Select this option if you want to set your own sales periods and add markup to the suppliers prices.

Creating a sales period
Select Customize pricing and availability.
Choose if you want to set the markup in percent or amount.
Click Add new sales period.
Name: Add a name for the sales period.
Period: Select a start- and end-date to for your period in the dropdown calendar.
Click Add new sales period.
Adding a markup to your sales period
Click on the sales period you have created.
In the section Overruling markup and supplier commission settings click on Show details
The three options to choose from:
Keep original markup settings and supplier commission settings:
This is the default option you choose if you want to keep the pricing for tickets as is.Set overruling markup and supplier commission for tickets:
Markup: Set the markup in percentage or amount per ticket type individually.
Supplier Commission %: set the supplier commisson for each ticket type individually. This can only be set in percentage.
Set general, overriding supplier commission and markup: The markup and supplier commission is set for all ticket types.
Choose your option and fill in the markups and commissions you want the supplier to have.
Attach the sales period to your desired sales channels by clicking on Add new sales channel to sales period.
Choose the sales channel you want to add the sales period to from the dropdown.
Click Add sales channel.
Step 6 and 7 can be repeated until you’ve added all sales channels that you desire.
Click Save.
