Cloudinary setup
Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you create a Cloudinary account and retrieve the information needed for the integration to Blend.
Cloudinary is a third-party service for storing images. To upload pictures and icons for your products or packages in Blend, you’ll need a Cloudinary account.
To connect your Cloudinary account to Blend, you’ll need your Cloud name, API Key, and API Secret.
Cloudinary account setup
Go to https://cloudinary.com
In the top right corner, click on the red button saying SIGN UP FOR FREE
Choose your preferred method for how to sign in. Either by email or directly with your google account.
When logged in, click on the gear icon
down in the bottom left corner.
Click on the menu option API Keys in the top left corner
You will now find all the information needed on this page
a. Cloud name: Your cloud is displayed at the top beside the header API Keys.b. API keys and API secret: Both found in the middle of the screen. To view and copy the API secret, hover your cursor above the censored field and you will see an eye-icon appearing on the right. Click on the eye-icon. You will need to verify by adding your cloudinary password. When verified you will be able to view your API secret and can copy it and use it in blend.
Cloudinary settings in Blend
Navigate to Settings → Tenant
Click on the Cloudinary integration tab
Fill in the fields for the Cloudinary integration:
a. Username: This is the email that you used when creating your Cloudinary account.
b. Cloud name: Copy the cloud name as explained in the cloudinary setup guide and paste it into this field.
c. API Key: Copy the API key from your Cloudinary account and paste it here.
d. Secret: Copy the API Secret from your Cloudinary account and paste it here.Click Save
You have now connected your Cloudinary Account to your blend tenant and can now upload pictures and icons for all your products and packages.
