Time Types
Time types are utilized to designate specific hourly wages for guides. They can help differentiate between full-time employees, seasonal workers and contractors, and provide clarity on the specific tasks and responsibilities a staff member undertakes.
Example: A guide specializing in leading kayak excursions would fall under the “Kayak Guide” category. Similarly, one steering a boat would be designated as a “Captain”
You need to create Time Types to use Timesheets. For more information, see Timesheets.
Add a New Time Type
In the left sidebar, navigate to Settings → Time types.
Click Create time type.
Add the information needed.
Time type name: Give the time type an informational name.
Salary type: Represents a salary type that exists in an external system.
Click Create time type.
Updating a Time Type
In the left sidebar, navigate to Settings → Time types.
Find the Time Type where you want to make adjustments and click the three dots
to the right of that Time Type.
Click Edit (or Delete if you want to remove the Time Time from your list).
Make adjustments to the Time type name or the Salary type.
An admin can adjust the time rates (which is the time types salary amount) on each specific guides connected time types.
